Alcarys Complex

Alcarys Complex is an action RPG with a focus on exploration. The protagonist is the pacifist Corvallis Unruh who works for a pharmaceutical distributor. His world is turned upside down when one day a creature tears apart his family’s house. This takes him on a quest with his companion Angela, who also introduces other people to the story.

Experience is gained by speaking with NPCs and correct dialog choices, not the combat. Although the combat is still possible, it is mostly optional, only two bosses are mandatory to fight. Although driven through conversation it is no visual novels and there is no linear path where correct choices are required to progress.
