Aveyond: Gates of Night

Gates of Night is the second installment in the Aveyond 3: Orb of Magic series and the fourth game overall. It is a turn-based RPG where players have to solve puzzles and complete tasks, which progresses the storyline and helps the characters level up. The game is shown through an almost top-down perspective. The playable characters include Mel (thief), Edward (prince), Stella (healer), Lydia (mage), Te’ijal (vampire), Galahad (knight) and Ulf (scholar).

After the events of Aveyond: Lord of Twilight Mel and her friends go to King William of Thais to ask his advice. Continuing the struggle caused by the two magical orbs, the Orb of Darkness and the Orb of Light, a large part of the game is spent locating the four quarter keys.
