RPG Gamers summary

Child of Light is an RPG game developed by Ubisoft Montreal using the visually stunning UbiArt Framework. The main character, Aurora, a young girl from 1895 Austria, finds herself in the fairytale continent of Lemuria. Unfortunately, Lemuria has fallen into darkness and Aurora must fight against the menacing creatures of the Queen of the Night to restore the stolen sun, moon, and stars. The story is crafted in verse and rhyme, adding a unique twist to the game’s narrative. Players will explore the charmingly designed landscapes of Lemuria, meeting oddball creatures like talking mice, wicked witches and evil sea serpents. The game’s combat system uses an Active-Time Battle System and a deep party system, allowing Aurora to fight off the enemies of Lemuria with her own party and her trusty firefly companion, Igniculus. The game is playable both as a single-player and two-player cooperative experience. Child of Light appears to be a magical story-driven RPG with eye-catching visuals and gameplay that encourages exploration and strategy.
