The Eve Online: Commissioned Officer Edition is constructed to assist new players to the second-generation massively multiplayer Eve Online universe and allow them to gain abilities quickly. This version introduces a device called the Cerebral Accelerator that will boost all of the player’s abilities for a limited duration of 30 days. After 30 days the benefits of the Cerebral Accelerator are depleted. This offers sufficient time to orientate the new player to the game elements and provides an adequate base set of abilities for continued play.
