RPG Gamers summary

Kim is an immersive open world RPG set in colonial India. Players take on the role of Rudyard Kipling’s ragamuffin hero, Kim, and explore hand-painted towns and procedurally generated countryside. Players must learn to survive by fair means or foul, meet characters from history and literature, and travel to exotic lands to uncover their secrets. The goal of the game is to live Kim’s youth as best you can, and if at first you don’t succeed, you can replay the classic adventure as many times as you wish. The game features a detailed 1880s India brought to life in an ever-changing open world, Rudyard Kipling’s dialogue in ‘choose your own adventure’ conversations, and simple but satisfying stealth and combat in pause-able real time. An original soundtrack from acclaimed composer Murugan Thiruchelvam adds to the immersive experience.
