Red Hawk is a Korean-made role-playing game in Japanese style. It is visually similar to Final Fantasy VII, having pre-rendered locations with fixed camera angles and 3D character models, world map, and battle graphics. The player-controlled party consists of up to three combatants. The turn-based battles are random; turns depend on the characters’ speed ratings, which is displayed as a separate bar. Characters can execute a variety of special attacks and techniques; a special bar refills as the character is being damaged, eventually allowing him or her to unleash a powerful “limit break” attack. Characters can also train in specific areas in order to increase their parameters.
