Game Details

Seiken to Maken no Densetsu tells a rather traditional story of a young boy named Aleph, who grew up in the village of Oron, part of the Veryland Empire. His father, Garland, was a mighty warrior who was killed ten years ago. Now Aleph has grown up and must follow in his father’s footsteps, starting with exterminations of nearby hostile goblins. Naturally, this is just the beginning of a grand quest that will eventually turn into a world-saving mission and restoration of the balance between different races in the world.

The gameplay is as traditional as the story: a basic Japanese-style party-based RPG with little to no extra features. The heroes roam the top-down world map, fight random enemies in turn-based combat viewed from first-person perspective, automatically level up, automatically learn new magic spells that require magic points, visit villages to rest and buy supplies, and descend into dungeons. Later in the game the player will also be able to navigate a ship to access previously locked locations.
