Game Details

It is the end of Northern Song dynasty (12th century) in China. Rich people control the land, ignoring the rights of peasants. Bureaucracy and corrupted officials weaken the Empire. In the northern regions, the enemy Liao (of Jurchen nation) attacks China. An official named Zhuge Xiaohua decides to save the country. He found and trained four heroes: Wu Qing (“No Emotion”), Tie Shou (“Iron Hand”), Zhui Ming (“Pursue Life”), and Leng Xie (“Cold Blood”). Those four heroes are the ones which are going to restore the glory of China.

Based on Wen Rui’an’s story Si Da Ming Bu: Hui Jingshi, the game is a Chinese RPG conceived in the spirit of Xuanyuan Jian and Xianjian Qixia Zhuan. The player navigates a party of heroes from third-person perspective, fighting enemies in turn-based style. Characters can use physical attacks or a variety of special techniques. The enemies are visible on screen before a contact with them triggers a battle. The game uses graphics in hand-painted style for backgrounds.
