About the game

The “XP-supporting edition” of Words Worth, itself a remake of an older game, is the same game on a single DVD instead of two CDs, obviously patched to support Windows XP, and containing another game (not available stand-alone), called Words Worth no Hitobito, which is basically an “expansion pack” for Words Worth, having exactly the same engine, gameplay, and most of the locations. The events of this game take place during the twenty years when Astral, the hero of the main game, was absent from his world. The hero this time is Umihara, the modern-day protagonist of another Elf game, Nonomura Byōin no Hitobito, who is magically summoned to the world of Words Worth by Wordseeker (Wortoshika), the king of the Shadow Tribe.
