Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand

Ys V: Lost Kefin, Kingdom of Sand is a remake of Ys V: Ushinawareta Suna no Miyako Kefin. It retains the general story of the original version, though a few events have been altered (for example, characters are introduced to the plot at a different time, etc.). Location layout is generally preserved, though there are a few changes in the overworld area.

The remake utilizes 3D background graphics, similarly to Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim. It also adds voice-overs to the dialogue. The player character can jump and defend with the shield, and magic system has been re-designed, requiring the player to equip various stones on swords to execute spells.
