In a post, Monster Hunter Wilds director Yuya Tokuda thanked everyone for playing the game. He added that they'd also like to thank the community for the "many comments, thoughts and feedback." The thing is, it doesn't end with a thank you. That's because according to director Tokuda they'll be releasing a free item pack for everyone to celebrate this recent milestone. The 10 Million Celebration Pack, which is available from April 1 to April 13, contains:

  • Mega Potion x30
  • Lifepowder x20

  • Silver Egg x10

Title Update 1

For now, players can look forward to the release of Title Update 1. There's a lot to be excited about since it's going to introduce a monster that's said to have formidable strength. In fact, the monster is at a level that's above Tempered.

Title Update 1 is coming out April 4.

May Update

The studio also revealed that there’s also an update planned to be released towards the end of May. It’s going to add the Tempered Monsters (★8) Gore Magala. Apex predators of each of the locales are also being added. Adjustments have been made to each of the monsters to make them more resilient like having increased health and resistance to wounding, to name a few.

Balance Adjustments

There are also balance adjustments in the works like the ones for weapons. It’s going to be implemented gradually with each upcoming title update to make the game more enjoyable for everyone for a longer period of time.

Monster Hunter Wilds is the newest addition to the Monster Hunter series. It's set in a dynamically changing world where there could be a rich natural environment teeming with life and transforms to that of a severe wilderness and swarming with packs of attacking monsters.

The game features grand and beautiful visual depictions that's made possible by the RE ENGINE, which is Capcom’s very own proprietary game development engine. The game was released on February 28 and made available for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. It may have been released on different platforms but with crossplay, players can enjoy the game together.

For the PC, Monster Hunter Wilds is available via Steam.
