A Demo of Dunebound Tactics is Now on Steam

Terahard Studios announced that a demo of Dunebound Tactics is now available on Steam. With this, players now have the chance to experience first hand this turn-based tactics roguelite.

Here are the features available in the demo:

• Command the Crew: Lead a band of ragtag survivors on a perilous trek across treacherous sands.

• Test Tactical Mastery: Make strategic choices and emerge victorious from turn-based combat with a dynamic and destructible terrain that challenges players to think on their feet.

• Deep RPG Elements & Replayability: After the tutorial, no two runs are the same with players getting a random squad with new classes and abilities to experiment with on the battefield.

In a statement, Terahard Studios CEO Aris Tsevrenis shared that developing the game has been a journey that's fueled by the team's passion when it comes to "pure tactical gameplay." He added that they built their own tactics engine from scratch while combining it with innovative mechanics having RPG depth.

Dunebound Tactics is a game that pushes the strategic and tactical prowess of players as they navigate the unforgiving wastes. They get to lead a crew on a daring voyage in search of a new life.

A Roster of Unique Classes

The game offers players a roster composed of 15 unique classes and 16 unique traits that enhance skills, stats, or add abilities. This ensures that each run offers a fresh experience.

As the characters grow, players get to unlock full potential by leveling up and equipping powerful modules (50+) to amplify their abilities. Players can rescue and recruit even more lost souls to bolster their numbers though it’s important to remember that the caravan has limited seats. Whether players find survivors wandering the desert or free them from the Imperial clutches, these narrative events shape their future—as well as theirs.

Players also need to take opponents into consideration. That’s because there are 38 enemy classes they have to face in the fight for a better tomorrow. Understanding the abilities of the enemies and planning accordingly is key.
