A Free Demo for Card-en-Ciel is Now on Steam

Developer ITI CREATES announced that it has released a new demo for its upcoming title Card-en-Ciel. It's now available for the PC via Steam. This demo is also coming out today for the Nintendo Switch.

The demo allows players to get a much-needed look to what the game has to offer. In addition, those who play the demo can carry their data over when the game launches October.

While the full version is set to have more than 300 cards, players can look forward to getting a chance to try out about 100 of these in the free demo. They can also check out the two full replayable dungeons which are unlocked once they complete the tutorial. Each dungeon offers its own experience where they get to obtain different cards to build their deck and fight their way to the boss. These same cards by the way won't disappear once the dungeon has been completed. Players can add them to their collection and later summon to battle as Wild Cards.

Roaming the Dungeons

In the game, players get to freely roam around dungeons and fight against enemies that they choose. They get to take on the role of Neon, a self-professed detective who specializes in crimes happening in full-dive VR games. When an in-development game gets suddenly overrun by various countless characters from other games old and new, Neon has no choice but to dive into the virtual dungeons in an attempt to stop them.

Recruiting Muse Cards

The game also has players recruit those powerful Muse cards who start performing when they meet their conditions. In particular, they activate unique effects that allow players to release their most degenerate combos. Each Muse sings a different song with a total of 50 vocal songs available in the game.
