The adventure into a new world begins with the release of Dragon Age: The Veilguard. The game is available for consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. It's also out for the PC via various platforms that include Steam, Epic Games Store, and the EA App.
The story follows the Dread Wolf Solas. He wants to bring down the Veil which separates Thedas from the world of demons. This is to bring back the immortality of his people and their glory. However, it comes at the cost of countless lives. The problem is that something went wrong with the ritual and Solas' worst fears come true and that is two of his most ancient and powerful adversaries are released. As a result, players take on the role of Rook and need not only to rise up but also unite the companions in an attempt to prevent these two powerful deities.
Technical Features
While the game has some truly exciting features, the technical aspects are also something to be excited about. For example, the game offers 21:9 ultrawide aspect ratio support along with uncapped PC frame rates and even a suite of Ray Tracing features.
Players can also accelerate performance through DLSS 3 which is sure to make the gameplay even more responsive, especially with Reflex. Meanwhile, enhance image quality and immersion have been enhanced with the use of ray-traced reflections and ambient occlusion.

Different Editions
The Standard Edition is available for $69.99 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S with the PC version priced at $59.99. The Deluxe Edition is offered at $89.99 on console or $79.99 on PC. Aside from the base game, the Deluxe Edition also comes with three Rook armor sets, six Rook weapons, seven companion armor sets and seven companion weapons.
