Adventurers in The Elder Scrolls Online are invited to take on a tougher Tamriel. This month's Golden Pursuits campaign is dubbed as "A New Challenge Arises" and brings with it a new Challenge Difficulty system. The campaign is now live and runs until July 7.
For the duration of the campaign, players can test their mettle and try to complete various activities. In return, they get to unlock a bounty of in-game rewards. These include:
- Complete three activities: 10,000 Gold
- Complete six activities: 100 Transmute Geodes
- Complete eight activities: 2 Iron Atronach Crown Crates
- Complete 10 activities: 10,000 Tel Var Stones
- Complete 12 activities: 30,000 Gold
The activities include defeating enemies, slaying bosses, and overcoming dungeons on Seasoned, Master, and Vestige Challenge Difficulty. There are a total of 20 activities available in total during this campaign.
Golden Pursuits
For those new to The Elder Scrolls Online, the Golden Pursuits system is basically a series of themed, limited-time activities that allow players to earn special rewards.
Progress in Golden Pursuits is simple. All players need to do is perform activities to unlock rewards. The activities can be just about anything that can be done in the game like running dungeons, crafting items, and fighting in Battlegrounds, to name a few. Once the described task has been performed, the activity is considered completed and the reward unlocked.
For rewards, there are three different categories. There’s activity rewards, which are tied to specific Golden Pursuit activities. Meanwhile, milestone rewards are those that are tied to the overall progress. Finally, capstone rewards are earned when players meet the required activity completion count of the active Golden Pursuit.
