A New Chapter Opens Up in Honkai Impact 3rd with Upcoming Update

A new update for Honkai Impact 3rd is all set to be released for everyone to enjoy. Update v8.0, which is titled as "In Search of the Sun", comes out January 9. One of the highlights is the introduction of a new chapter.

Part 2 Chapter VII is dubbed as Bouquets of Unfulfilled Wishes. In this one, Dreamseeker and her companions return to the Mars system in order to investigate and learn more about the Ten Shus War. In the meantime, Helia holds back her tears as she continues to discover the reason behind Coralie's unfortunate plight. However, an unexpected individual who's related to the eye in Helia's mind appears in the new main story.

You see, after what happened to Coralie, the protagonists are now more than eager to locate the god of Mars. They have undergone a series of trials and have finally made it into the tower that overlooks Ruimu. This is a sacred place that's accessible only to victors of the Ten Shus War.

In the upcoming update, the main story gameplay introduces what's known as a new cube game. This time, Vita teams up with little Durandal to clean the dirty data generated during system operations. In On-Duty Work Guide, Captains move Cube-ianka around and solve puzzles. Completing the main story results in players getting rewarded with Crystals, Source Prisms, and more. During the event, complete specific main story chapters to obtain a portion of 60,000,000 Crystals.

Featured Event

The featured event launched with the new update is Countdown: To Sweet Dreams. There’s some familiar faces that are making an appearance in this event. While players can enjoy the comedic story, they can also look forward to a truly fun boss battle.

Of course, there are also normal fights though they’ll play differently.
