A new update has been released for Lost Ark and brings back the Holy Beast. Return of Argos sees a reimagined version of the creature as a standalone frost-themed event encounter. The event runs from May 13 to July 15.
Snowflake Argos
As part of the new update, the Holy Beast Argos not only returns but has been reborn in frost and reimagined as a standalone 8-player event encounter. This reworked version of the classic Argos battle takes place on a new yet familiar Valtan 0 platform. It challenges adventurers to face familiar yet transformed mechanics in a limited-time event with exclusive rewards.
The Snowflake Argos event runs every hour, starting at 10 minutes past the hour. Players can join once per day and three times per week. Event progress and detailed information can be found through the Snowflake Argos icon on the left side of the mini-map.
Earn Coins
For the event, players can earn what's known as Snowflake Argos Coins. The amount is based on the co-op quest tier and buff stacks accumulated during the encounter. Coin buffs are earned by successfully performing a Perfect Block or Counterattack during the battle with Argos.
Should they die in battle, a portion of the coin buffs earned by players are scattered randomly across the battlefield. These scattered coin buffs can be picked up by any player to stack additional buffs.
Buff stacks earned during the fight provide bonus tokens on top of the base reward and scales from +20 tokens at 10 stacks up to +50 tokens at 100 stacks. Once they defeat Argos, players can receive additional rewards based on the number of buff stacks they have.
Event Shop
Snowflake Argos Coins can be exchanged valuable rewards at the event shop. These include an Argos Spirit Chest for 100 coins and Relic Engraving Selection Chest for 1,000 coins. They can also get Epic Astrogem Selection Chests at 300 coins each.
