Absolum to Offer New Challenges with Mystic Ordeals

A new update is being planned for Absolum and it sees the fight continue in Talamh. It's going to be good news for the Rebels as they're getting some new functions.

Let's begin with Mystic Ordeals, which let players challenge themselves. Once the final foe is defeated, the Rebels then find new pre-set ordeal. This should deliver that additional layer of challenge in addition to a regular playthrough. That's not all since aside from defeating increasingly difficult pre-made ordeals, players can customize their own challenge and then share this unique code with the world.

An Evolving World

A lot of players may have encountered randomized portals during their travels. These has since been absorbed by the very land of Talamh itself. What this means is that Rebels now face corrupted regions, which are visible within Maugis’ map. These new corrupted regions contain stronger enemies though offer daring Rebels with greater rewards along the journey.

It's important for players to remember that they have to choose the trail wisely, especially if they want to avoid, or possibly maximize, these corrupted regions. However, with the Mystic Ordeals, players can alter the frequency of the corrupted lands.

Upgraded Mounts

Players should be happy to know that the new mount breeding programme has been incredibly successful. As a result, Rebels can now find new Elite mounts out in the world. They're bigger, better, faster, and stronger.

There are also Elite mounts which brings with them upgraded attacks that should help players through the awaiting hordes.

New Skins and Emotes

New in-game emotes have been added which come with their own slice of style. Some of them also have their own unique voice lines. Rebels can choose their emote pack when choosing their hero at the campfire. This should facilitate a little more communication among the Rebel cells.

Players can also find each of the heroes now come with new skins which players can unlock through the sacred tree or by completing challenges.

Update 1.1 for Absolum comes out in early 2026.
