Alpha Tests for Arkheron is Happening this Weekend

Bonfire Studios announced the schedules for the upcoming alpha tests for Arkheron. This fast-paced and dynamic PvP game has 15 teams of three fight as they climb a mysterious Tower that's built from fragments of their life before. In the game, the items are the heroes and each one has been imbued with unique abilities that shape how players fight, adapt, and outplay other teams.

Queues for the main game mode are open during these times:

North America, South America and surrounding island countries.

• Friday Sep 19 – 11:00am to 11:00pm PDT

• Saturday Sep 20 – 11:00am to 11:00pm PDT

• Sunday Sep 21 – 11:00am to 11:00pm PDT

Europe, Russia, EMEA, and Africa.

• Friday Sep 19 – 5:00pm to 11:00pm CEST

• Saturday Sep 20 – 11:00am to 11:00pm CEST

• Sunday Sep 21 – 11:00am to 11:00pm CEST

Most of Asia as well as Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.

Expectations for Alpha

As a way to set expectations for the alpha, Bonfire Studios CEO Rob Pardo shared in a post that Arkheron has a steep learning curve with onboarding being at the early stages. The development teams continue to work and improve the game. One of the features that players can experience with the upcoming alpha is the early version of the game's bots. For now, the bots are there to help with requeue times especially when there's not a lot of players.

He also reminded everyone that the game's matchmaking remains to be in an early state. That means there may be games when the skills between players are mismatched. However, it should get a bit better the more matches are played.
