Americas Cup Final 8 for Summoners War World Arena Championship 2025 are Locked In

Com2uS officially announced the final roster of the Ninth Annual Summoners War World Arena Championship. With this, the battles on the global esports stage are about to get fierce.

The lower bracket winners BADOWNEY, TRUEWHALE, ZEFA, and ZEZAS join the champions of the upper bracket BIGV, RAIGEKI, LADRILLO-OS, and VINNY. This is especially good news to fans in Brazil with a special hometown favorite in ZEZAS joining the fight on his home turf.

The official America’s cup goes live October 11 in São Paulo, with the top three players earning their place in the World Finals on November 1 in Paris. There they’ll be competing with some of the best players in the world.

SWC 2025

Registration for the competition started back on June 30. Preliminary participants were chosen based on their individual performance during World Arena Seasons 32 and 33. The Europe and Americas regions fielded 16 preliminary players each. Meanwhile, the Asia-Pacific region is divided into four groups which are Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia and Others in Asia, with 8 players from each preliminary group.

Preliminaries started late July and are expected to conclude by the end of August. The best-of-five and double elimination showdowns determine who advances to the Regional Cups.

Regional Cups are going to be held in-person around the world to determine the finalists. The Europe Cup kicks off on September 20 as a closed-door event. It's then followed by the Americas Cup on October 11 in São Paulo, Brazil. It then closes out with the Asia-Pacific Cup on October 18 in Busan, South Korea. Three players from each Regional Cup earn a spot in the World Finals.

There's also Open Qualifier events held in France and Hangzhou. One player from France and two players from the Hangzhou qualifiers get a direct ticket to the World Finals.

Summoners War offers the experience of tactical RPG play through different monsters, with each one having unique skills. Overall, there are more than 1500 different monsters grouped in five different attributes which are Fire, Water, Wind, Light, and Dark. The goal is for players to collect as many monsters as you can and try to win battles using their own decks.
