Anima: Gate of Memories I&II Remaster is Now on Steam

Anima: Gate of Memories I&II Remaster is now available for the PC via Steam. It's priced at $24.99 and currently being offered at a 10% launch discount until November 18.

The game is also available on consoles through PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S where it's being offered for $29.99. A version for the Nintendo Switch 2 is planned to be released sometime in 2026.

Anima: Gate of Memories I&II Remaster is a title that combines two beloved action-RPGs into one definitive edition. Players get to experience the original Anima: Gate of Memories and its companion story Anima: The Nameless Chronicles. The two games have been rebuilt from the ground up for modern platforms and come with completely overhauled visuals, rebalanced combat, and refined gameplay systems.

Two Fates

This third-person Action RPG weaves together two fates. The first is a legendary monster and a mysterious girl with no memory of her past and the second one is that of an immortal soul cursed to wander the world forever. Their existence takes an unexpected turn when they discover that all of them have been involved in something sinister. It's a war in the shadows where they play an involuntary leading role in opposing sides of the table.

Dual System

In the game, players get to be part of fast-paced battles that offer real-time action and combined with classic RPG mechanics. They can perform spectacular combos and strategic attacks through the use of an intuitive and skill-based system.

One of the interesting features is the Dual System which allows players to instantly switch between characters and chain devastating attacks. Then there’s what’s known as The Hand of Tanathos, a unique mechanic that lets players merge with Death itself to enhance their abilities.
