ArenaNet announced that it is working on Guild Wars 3. There's a lot of new and interesting features for everyone to enjoy.
In a post, the studio revealed that in Guild Wars 3, players get to explore Orr like never before. They can join the Vaelwardens, a guild whose members have sworn to protect the land.
The studio went on to say that when Guild Wars 3 is launched, players can experience the world of Tyria not only on PC but also for the PlayStation 5. In addition, the combat system was designed to make sure that they feel incredible regardless of whether players use a mouse and keyboard or controller.
A New Era
Guild Wars 3 takes place more than a thousand years before the original game. This gives both new and longtime players a vast frontier to explore, one that's imbued with magic and alive with the vitality of the wilds. All across Orr, there are rival guilds who fight for influence and control. Players get to join the Vaelwardens.
What Next?
The studio shared that they’ll reveal more details in the future. The main goal is to make sure that the game is able to push the MMORPG forward while at the same time be able to uphold the values players have long expected from the Guild Wars series. In particular, it’s a game that has the tendency for players to get lost for hours but respects not only their time but also investment. Of course, the studio is also working to make sure that the upcoming title is able to create a positive and supportive space to build a community and share stories together.
For the PC version, it’s going to be accessible via Steam. So far, the minimum system requirements are:
