Artis Impact is now available on the Nintendo Switch. This pixel art turn-based RPG is releasing for both the Switch and Switch 2.
The game was first released for the PC via Steam back in August 7 of this year. Artis Impact earned widespread praise from players with an 81.5% "Very Positive" rating from more than 2,500 user reviews. The game has also received multiple prestigious accolades, including the Vermilion Award (Grand Prize) at BitSummit PUNCH 2026, and the Grand Prize at the RPG Maker Award 2026.
Artis Impact is the passion project of Mas, a solo Malaysian developer who spent four years crafting every detail of the game using RPG Maker MV. According to Mas, the project is "a small but soulful world made with all my love for gaming." The game offers a warm and humorous take on the post-apocalyptic genre, a world that feels both desolate and deeply human.
A Post-Apocalyptic World
Artis Impact is set 3,000 years. It's a time when Earth has lost its former glory. The desires of humanity have left behind nothing but irreversible desolation. In this harsh world, humans struggle to survive under the rule of out-of-control AI. However, pockets of resistance remain.
Players take on the role of Akane, a rookie agent of the resistance organization called "A-Lith." Serving as her partner is a small AI robot named Bot. The duo embark on a journey to uncover the secrets hidden within this hand-crafted post-apocalyptic world.
Hand-Crafted Pixel-Art World
In the game, each map in the post-apocalyptic world is hand-made. There are more than 4,000 hand-drawn pixel animation frames crafted over four years of solo development. Artis Impact presents a beautifully desolate world that's brought to life with fluid and charming character animations.

The game features streamlined and turn-based combat that pays homage to 90s-era JRPGs. The system is accessible to newcomers while at the same time making sure that veterans are satisfied. It offers meaningful challenges without overwhelming players.
