For Honor is bringing back a crossover event with Assassin's Creed. It sees the return of the Assassini e Templari game mode which runs from April 23 to May 14.
This game mode is based on modified Dominion rules and available in Citadel Gate, River Fort and Beachhead. Making things even more exciting is that all three locations have been updated with visual elements and iconic characters from Assassin’s Creed.
How the mode works is that each team has to capture lanes and summon an opposing commander, either Ezio Auditore or Cesare Borgia. They then earn points by defeating them. However, teams need to be on high alert to protect their own commander and block the enemy team from scoring an additional 300 points.
For the duration of this event and in the event game mode only, all Heroes have access to the iconic drop attack animation and allow attacks from elevated positions across the match.
Event Rewards
While Assassini e Templari is live, players can unlock Assassin’s Creed’s themed rewards by completing event matches. Lootable rewards include the Battle of Heroes, Valhalla Quest and even the Animus Project Battles Outfits. The Ruler of the Masses Elite Outfit is also going to be lootable.
Several effects are also available like Vitruvian Hero, Welcome to Valhalla, and Templar Synchronization. Players can also loot the Heroes of Heathmoor and Synin’s Wings Ornaments along with event‑exclusive weapon customization.
Event Pass
Players should be happy to know that a Free Event Pass is available for the duration of the event. It brings back Assassin’s Creed crossover rewards and introduces special weapons for Shinobi, Shugoki, Berserker, and Peacekeeper. Progress can be earned by playing Assassini e Templari or completing Daily Orders.
Finally, a time‑limited event leaderboard tracks players' performances within the mode that’s available for the duration of the event.
The crossover event also brings with it three new skins which you can read more about here.
