An update is coming soon to Titan Quest II and it's going to introduce some interesting changes. For one, it's giving players the chance to step foot on Mount Olympos. They'll also get to meet battle centaurs and even an Olympian. Then there are the new allies and enemies.
The upcoming update launches Chapter 3 and invites players to travel far from the coast. In particular, everyone is headed to the Plains of Arkadia, this once green region has been stricken by war and drought. One of the locations is Tegea, a sprawling human city subjugated by a brutal centaur tribe. It's now up to the players to show the centaurs the strength of humanity.
Head to Mount Olympos
Chapter 3 invites players to be one of the chosen few allowed to step foot on the sacred ground that is Mount Olympos. There they get to speak to an Olympian and meet the first centaurs ever born. This is a chance for players to experience the pages of famous tales and make their own mark.
By the way, it's not all talking. This is because the new chapter brings with it three new boss fights that include an exciting chapter boss.
A Nemesis Awaits
In the previous chapter, players were able to evade Nemesis. The thing is, she's one who now won't underestimate players again. As they head out and explore new areas as well as face new threats, Nemesis is in the background and planning. Players are asked to look for something critical that has the chance to defeat Nemesis.
Titan Quest II brings players back into the mythology-inspired world of the original series. This action RPG from the teams behind SpellForce 3 puts players in the thick of a fantastical rendering of ancient Greece, where legendary monsters roam and mythological themes are alive.
The game presents a narrative wherein Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution, has gone rogue, manipulating the Threads of Fate to condemn anyone crossing her path to an everlasting punishment. As the protagonist, players must take up arms, align themselves with gods, and alter fate to defeat Nemesis, liberate the punished souls, and create their lasting epic.
The exploration-centric campaign of the game emphasizes discoveries of world mysteries and secrets, with legendary creatures lurking in hidden spots and potential encounters with gods. Vibrant townships teem with life, offering dynamic interactions and items that open possibilities for unexpected findings or pivotal assets to fight against Nemesis.
