Dragon Age: The Veilguard is all set to be released in a little over two weeks from now. There's been a lot of excitement and BioWare just upped the ante with the release of the specifications for the PC.
Now before we take a look at those requirements, it should be noted that in addition to being detailed, the specifications released include settings for Ray Tracing on and Ray Tracing off. This means that players having high-end rigs can take advantage of the different Ray Tracing features and uncapped frame rates. Meanwhile, for the minimum PC specs, the focus was on ensuring that the game can be accessed by as many players as possible.

Console Versions
Aside from the PC, Dragon Age: The Veilguard is also releasing for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. As such, there's going to be fidelity and performance modes for the console versions which target 30 and 60 FPS.
BioWare Studio Technical Director Maciej Kurowski shared that players are sure to notice just how better the experience is with the PS5 Prop. He added that the Fidelity and Performance modes have improvements on the hardware that include including improved resolution in 30FPS Fidelity and 60FPS Performance modes. There are also some improved visual settings across 30FPS Fidelity and 60FPS Performance mode.
Kurowski went on to say that players can look forward to the upgraded image quality made possible through Sony’s new AI-based upscaler, which is the PSSR. He also said that they’ve enabled Raytraced Ambient Occlusion (RTAO) in the 60FPS Performance mode, which in the past have only been available on the base PlayStation 5 with 30FPS Fidelity mode.
