Black Myth: Wukong has received seven nominations for the 25th Annual Game Developers Choice Awards. It’s been nominated for the highly coveted Game of the Year Award along with other titles that include Astro Bot, Balatro, Helldivers 2, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and Metaphor: ReFantazio.
Developed and published by Game Science, Black Myth: Wukong is an action role-playing game that’s rooted in Chinese mythology and inspired by the literary classic “Journey to the West.” The game features skill-based combat and challenging gameplay. It’s currently available on various platforms that include the PC via Steam.
Aside from Game of the Year, other categories that Black Myth: Wukong got the nod include Best Audio, Best Design, Innovation Award, Best Narrative, Best Technology, and Best Visual Art.
The GDCA
The Game Developers Choice Awards, or GDCA, is a leading peer-based video game event that celebrates the top games and developers in the industry. The winners for each category are to be honored at a ceremony which takes place on Wednesday, March 19.
This celebration takes place each year at the Game Developers Conference (GDC). The GDC is now in its 39th edition and is happening at San Francisco’s Moscone Convention Center from March 17 to March 21. The GDCA is held in conjunction with the Independent Games Festival Awards (IGF Awards).
