Hyperstrange, the creators behind the indie FPS sensation, have once again proven their passion for heavy metal and gaming with their latest venture. The game, Blood West, is set to launch on December 5th and has already received an impressive 92% positive review average on Steam. This isn't your typical wild west gunslinger's redemption arc. This is a damnation arc.
In a unique fusion of gaming and music, the Hyperstrange team has collaborated with viral rock band Ghoultown and the multi animation award-winning Smile Studios to create a music video for Blood West. The video features an original song by Ghoultown, "I Am The Undead", a western heavy metal ballad about one gunslinger's eternal damnation. The video takes viewers on a journey through the game's hell-ridden nightmare landscape, complete with fights, killings, and the gunslinger's relentless battle against the odds. Blood West offers an immersive wild west stealth FPS experience, complete with RPG elements. In the game, players take on the role of a revenant desperado, tasked with facing twisted demons and eldritch horrors. As they navigate the cursed frontier, players will be led towards increasingly challenging quests in a story-rich, non-linear adventure. The full game, including the third and final part of Blood West’s story, is set to launch later this year on December 5.
