Get ready for a new experience as Borderlands 4 invites everyone to a new zone. This is part of the new Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort that's available for $19.99.
The new zone is the remote island of Providence. This luxurious retreat is near lush wilderness and a majestic volcano. This same region is where the upper-crust Electi once vacationed. However, in order to secure the precious Ordonite resource of Providence, Tediore has sent an expeditionary group led by five elite generals who serve the ruthless Lieutenant Harmony. This means players need to prepare as they fight against the foot soldiers and exoskeleton-mech operators of Tediore's Invasion Force army.
While it is exciting to explore a new zone, it is recommended for Vault Hunters who are at least level 13. To access Providence island, players first need to complete the "A Lot to Process" mission in the Fadefields. They can also roll a new Vault Hunter that starts directly at the FL4K and the Last Resort content at level 13. Once they meet the requirements, players can then initiate the new content by interacting with the distress beacon near The Bones of Sanctuary in the Terminus Range. It's going to be marked on the ECHO map as a new mission.
For those able to survive not only the treacherous wilds of Providence but also the legion of Tediore troops occupying them, they get a chance at some incredibly powerful new loot. These include two new Pearlescent weapons which are the Astonisher (Ripper Shotgun) and Quadratus (Vladof Heavy Weapon Ordnance). There's also 18 new pieces of Legendary gear.
New Cosmetic Items
The new Story Pack also brings with it a lot of new cosmetics items like the two Vault Hunter Heads and four Vault Hunter Skins. These are usable by all Vault Hunters. There are also six Weapon Skins, four Vehicle Skins, three ECHO-4 Drone Skins & Attachments, and an ECHO-4 Frame.
Arriving alongside the new Story Pack is a new Vault Hunter. Learn more about Loveless the hacker here.
