A new update for The First Berserker: Khazan was released last week. One of the balance changes introduced was those for gear.
For example, the level of gear which players can acquire via the Shop and Craft are no longer based on character level and instead on accumulated experience and lacrima. In addition, the character level reset no longer affects the gear level available in Shop or Craft. This should allow the usage of gear to match overall progression.
Changes were made as well for the Gear Health Recovery Options. In particular, the new update fixed an issue where "Brutal Attack: Health Recovery" option was not applied when using "Brutal Attack: Execution" or "Brutal Attack: Descent" skills. Another issue fixed was where the "Enemy Defeated: Health Recovery" option was not triggered when defeating enemies with "Brutal Attack: Execution" or "Brutal Attack: Descent" skills.
Finally, there's the Bard Set Effects. The update fixed an issue where "High-Grade Item Drop Rate" stats for the Bard Set were not properly applied to Epic and Legendary items in NG+.
Mission Improvements
There were also improvements made for the game's mission. It was found out that there were certain level ranges that were initially planned to be challenging but have become frustrating and even an overly exhausting experience. Affected Main Missions are:
- Mission 7 (Nadin)
- Mission 9 (Linon Mine)
- Mission 10 (Lake City Aldevir)
- Mission 11 (Rephalan Mountains)
- Mission 13 (Rovelion Imperial Theater)
There were also side missions impacted which are Mission 10 (Unrequited Love) and Mission 13 (Centurial Order).
