Bandai Namco Entertainment America announced that a playable Character Creator Demo for Code Vein II is going to available starting January 22 on PC via Steam. The Character Creator Demo allows players to experience the deep customization system available for the game, particular for the protagonist Revenant Hunter.
Players can customize their characters to perfection with a wide range of settings for body type, hairstyle, facial expressions, accessories, and makeup, to name a few. There's also a hot spring at the MagMell Institute that they can visit and view their character in different lighting environments. Then can then use Photo Mode to capture and save the creations.
For those on console, the Character Creator Demo is available beginning January 23 on PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S.
Code Vein II features a deep narrative where players and characters are bound by blood, fate, and destiny. It’s set in a future where the last remnants of humanity and Revenants struggle against a world on the verge of collapse. Players go on a journey that spans across haunting and post-apocalyptic landscapes that include the flooded ruins of the Sunken City, The Undead Forest, and the isolated MagMell Island, to name a few.
As the story unfolds, players encounter legendary heroes, Revenants whose destinies intertwine with the world’s survival. Code Vein II also features distinctive gameplay for an action RPG, where players use blood drained from enemies to unlock a variety of powerful skills, build strategy for combat with Blood codes. They can also use unique weapons and equipment called Jails to overcome challenging foes and epic bosses.
Pre-orders on the PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S is now available. The Standard Edition of Code Vein II is priced at $69.99. The Deluxe Edition is being offered for $89.99 and in addition to the base game, comes with the Custom Outfit Pack which contains three costume sets and one weapon. It also has the Expansion DLC, which is the Mask of Idris.
The Ultimate Edition is available for $99.99. It has everything offered in the Deluxe Edition. It also has other content like the Digital Mini Artbook and Soundtrack. This edition also has the Code Vein Character Costume Set which contains six costumes based on characters from the original game.
Code Vein II is releasing on January 30.
