Last week Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 celebrated its 1st Anniversary. As part of the festivities, Sandfall Interactive is offering the game at a 20% discount for a limited period. This should be good news to those who want to join the expedition.

In addition to celebrating its 1st anniversary, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is also acknowledging another big milestone. In a post, the studio revealed that the game "officially reached 8 million copies sold." The studio went on to say that they want to thank everyone who supported the game.

Community Emotes

One of the biggest support that the game received is from the community. In particular, it's packed with phenomenally talented artists. As part of the anniversary celebration, the studio has decided to commission some of those in the community to design official Expedition 33 emotes.

The studio gave a shoutout to IrunoArt, comickergirl (Sarah Leuver), and Bugyakis. Download the emotes for free here.

Official Merch

The studio revealed as well that they've partnered with Orcival and Le Béret Français to offer the official Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 striped shirt and beret. This should be excellent for those who want to cosplay.

The official Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 x Orcival mariniere can be purchased here. The official Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 x Le Béret Français beret is available to buy here.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a modern take on the classic turn-based RPG genre. It brings new aspects to table with its inventive real-time mechanics that make battles more engrossing and the overall gameplay more riveting.

The game’s setting draws inspiration from the Belle Époque era of France as it delivers a visually stunning rendition for players to explore and conquer. Meanwhile, the narrative focuses on an annual curse triggered by the mysterious Paintress, who paints a number on her monolith signifying the age of those who would vanish that year. The game starts when the number is set to be "33," aligning with the expedition that players embark upon.

For the PC, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is available via Steam.
