Netmarble announced that the Closed Beta Test for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin starts October 30. It’s going to be available on PlayStation 5 and the PC via Steam. The CBT ends November 5.

As a way to accommodate the strong player demand, the studio revealed that they’re opening additional recruitment for those interested. Registration initially closed October 19. While the extension is indeed good news, don’t take too long to decide since application is only until tomorrow, October 24. Those interested can apply through the official Discord channel. The studio shared that those selected to be testers are going to receive the notice individually via email.

So what can testers expect for the CBT? They can explore the vast open world that the game offers. They also get to experience the signature action firsthand. The CBT features epic battles against the Red Demon and Gray Demon and adventures across Fersen Mine, to name a few. The CBT supports English, Japanese, and Korean languages.

The game is based on the popular Japanese manga and anime The Seven Deadly Sins. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin follows the success of The Seven Deadly Sins: GRAND CROSS, a RPG which has managed to exceed 70 million downloads worldwide. The game is developed by the same team and features a multiverse storyline which is original to the game. It offers players the chance to experience an expansive open world across the continent of Britannia where they can collect heroes from The Seven Deadly Sins and Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Players can customize their combat style and shape their adventure.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin has been optimized to deliver a premium open-world RPG experience across different platforms. At launch, the studio shared in a statement that that game supports 12 languages and thus ensures accessibility for players around the world.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin follows the epic journey of Tristan and Tioreh. As they travel across the continent of Britannia, they encounter familiar characters from the series, like Meliodas, as they engage in intense battles and lighthearted adventures.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is launching on January 28, 2026, for the PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
