Closed Beta Test Registration for The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Netmarble announced that registration for the global Closed Beta Test of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is now open. This was made during the gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live where the studio also released a new trailer.

The new trailer is narrated by Meliodas who introduces the world and key features of the game. The footage showcases high-quality visual upgrades as well as the vast open-world continent of Britannia. The game has players freely explore underwater environments, soar through the skies, and engage in a wide range of activities like fishing, puzzles, and aerial adventures. The trailer also gives a sneak peek at the intense battles and unique combat style players can experience in the game.

CBT Announcement

The trailer then concludes with the global CBT announcement. The closed beta offers players around the world a rare chance to experience what the game offers ahead of the official launch. To join, players need to visit the official website, submit their email address, and then complete a short survey. Selected participants and detailed scheduling are to be announced at a later date.

The game is based on the popular Japanese manga and anime The Seven Deadly Sins. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin follows the success of The Seven Deadly Sins: GRAND CROSS, a RPG which has managed to exceed 70 million downloads worldwide. The game is developed by the same team and features a multiverse storyline which is original to the game. It offers players the chance to experience an expansive open world across the continent of Britannia where they can collect heroes from The Seven Deadly Sins and Four Knights of the Apocalypse. Players can customize their combat style and shape their adventure.
