Noodle Cat announced that Cloudheim is finally in Early Access on Steam. It invites players in a destructible world where it's all about combo-driven combat. It's a place where ancient beings lie dormant and corruption spreads.
In a post, the studio shared the launch is merely the start. They went on to say that they "decided to go into Early Access" even as they knew there was a lot of work that needed to be done. That's why players can expect a lot of bug fixes along with content updates.
Demo vs Early Access
For those who were able to play the demo of Cloudheim, there should be some differences. In the demo for example, players could progress right before Act III of Arcadia. The Early Access meanwhile has all of Arcadia along with the islands of Duslanger, Greenvor, and Frostvaldr. These areas have their own questlines for players to complete, new dungeons to explore, and quirky enemies to face. In addition while on Odin Shell, they'll have access to more upgrades and craftable options as players build out their base in the skies.
Price
The game is available for $29.99 but is currently being offered at a 10% discount for a limited period. There's also the Supporter Edition, available at $39.98, which has the base game and the Supporter Pack. The Supporter Pack has four exclusive characters along with a bunch of emotes. There are also character styles available for 26 characters.
System Requirements
For those who want to join the adventure, the minimum system requirements for the PC are:
- OS: Windows 10 (1903 min)
