CODE VEIN II is Now on PC and Consoles

Bandai Namco Entertainment America announced that CODE VEIN II is now available. This new action RPG invites players to go on an epic journey where they wield time as a weapon and travel through past and present versions of an explorable world and uncover a dramatic battle to save humanity.

CODE VEIN II is set in a future where the last remnants of humanity and Revenants struggle against a world that's on the verge of collapse. Players have to travel across vast environments with companions as they take on challenging foes along with massive and unforgettable bosses. They take on the role of the Revenant Hunter who's been tasked to prevent the Resurgence, a cataclysmic event that threatens the fate of the world. They're accompanied by Lou MagMell, a Revenant girl who revives the protagonist and wields the power to travel through time.

CODE VEIN II features unique gameplay for an action RPG. In particular, players need to use blood drained from enemies in order to unlock a wide range of powerful skills. They'll also need to build strategy for combat with Blood codes and use unique weapons and equipment called Jails to overcome challenging foes and epic bosses.

Another new feature in the game is the new Partner System. This one has players seamlessly switch between two forms of combat. That's not all since the Partner System also elevates player combat into a dynamic action experience with the new Link Points gauge, Link Traits, Partner Trait Bonuses, and the Restorative Offering mechanic where partners can restore the fallen Revenant Hunter with recovered health.

But wait, there's more! Fans of the previous title should be happy to know that the deep customization system is back. This one allows players to customize their characters to perfection with a vast array of settings for body type, hairstyle, facial expressions, accessories, and makeup, to name a few. Players can also visit key locations in game called the hot springs to view their character in different lighting environments and use Photo Mode to capture and save their creations.

CODE VEIN II is available for PC via Steam along with consoles PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X/S.
