As Hawks, players get to command the galaxy’s finest when it comes to tactical operations, investigations, and other heart-pounding missions, all experienced through a cinematic original story. Players need to come up with strategies and may also need to adapt not only at their base of operation but more importantly in the ever-shifting battlefield. It's a place where each move counts and the outcomes of the decisions result in making each playthrough unique.
Star Wars Zero Company has players deploy a team of operatives composed of different archetypes. These range from scoundrels and all the way to astromechs. Those lucky enough may even get the chance to put a Jedi on their team. They can then choose from an arsenal of tactical abilities to outmaneuver and defeat enemies.
To improve the skills of the members of the squad, player have to deploy them on missions. It's because that is where they learn to work together and be able to unlock new combat synergies that could be the difference between victory and defeat. They can also customize the combat specialization and appearance of Hawks. The squad itself can be filled with original and custom-made Star Wars characters.
