Good news to all adventurers! Conan Exiles Enhanced is officially live on Steam. It brings what can be described as the most dramatic visual and technical overhaul of the game.
This upgrade is available as a free download to all current and future players of the game. The Enhanced edition arrives ahead of the game's anniversary and serves as a gift to the millions of Conan Exiles players around the world.
A Modernized Version
The upgrade moves the whole game into Unreal Engine 5. It unifies eight years of post‑launch content while at the same time give the world of Conan a sweeping visual refresh. Changes include the sharply improved environments, character models, lighting, and effects. There's also the redesigned UI along with numerous quality‑of‑life upgrades.
Another change is that performance targeting 60+ FPS across all graphical presets on most PCs. Finally, the strong Steam Deck performance allows for portable survival.
A New World
For the first time, players can now freely travel between The Exiled Lands and The Isle of Siptah. That's because the two massive regions have been integrated and connected. This eliminates the need to choose a map at character creation or start over to explore both.
It's worth noting that multiplayer servers can host both regions simultaneously which should expand the playable space for communities that own the Siptah expansion.
A Reinvention
After Conan Exiles was released back in 2018, it eventually became one of the most recognizable survival games available. In a post, Funcom shared that this new edition serves as a "celebration of the game’s longevity."
