Darkhaven Kickstarter Campaign Breaches $300,000

Exciting for those looking forward to Darkhaven! Developer Moonbeast Productions revealed that the Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming ARPG has breached the $300,000. That means it has managed to hit 60% of its target.

As of this writing, there are still 15 days left for those who want to support the game. To sweeten the deal, the studio said in a statement that they've added new rewards where one of them has supporters design their own legendary item. This is for those who donate at least $1,500.

However, there is another new reward added. The Personalized Shrine is available to all pledge tiers and let supporters:

• Choose the name of the Shrine (within reason)

• Decide on the look - Choose the shape, base, details, and material.

• Choose the in-game effect from the list.

• Display an epithet when Shrine is activated.

• This shrine has a chance to be placed in everyone's game, and give the temporary effect chosen by the supporter.

Darkhaven is a dark fantasy isometric ARPG that's set in the aftermath of a great and final collapse of civilization. Ancient empires have fallen and their ruins reclaimed by wilderness, monsters, and predatory supernatural forces. Players take on the role of heirs to a legacy of power that serves as the last hope for this dying world. As eldritch evil worms its way into the world to feed on its remains, it falls to these few to bring the land back from the brink of death.

Darkhaven is designed for solo play, cooperative adventures, and high-stakes PvP-enabled realms. While the game world is procedurally generated, it's fully dynamic and persistent. The terrain and structures are deformable while at the same time buildable. With this, it allows players to dig through earth and tunnel through dungeon walls. They can also drain lakes to uncover buried ruins, redirect lava flows to reshape battlefields, or rebuild shattered fortresses. In the game, the seasons change with the weather having an impact on combat and traversal. There are also world-altering events that leave permanent scars. Each action contributes to a shared and evolving history.
