Get ready to plunge the battlefield into darkness as a new Classic God arrives in SMITE 2. The Goddess of Night Nox brings with her some interesting abilities.
Let's start with her Passive, which is "Flame of Night." Each time Nox casts an ability, a candle is lit. For each one that's been lit, her Intelligence increases.
Her Ability 1 is called "Shadow Lock." It sends her shadow forward through walls and deal magical damage to minions and jungle monsters it passes. If it hits an enemy god, it stops and players channel, Rooting and Crippling them and dealing magical damage over time. Meanwhile her Ability 2 is "Siphon Darkness." Once cast, it creates a void at the target location. Then after a short delay it explodes and deal magical damage while at the same time silence enemies inside. Enemy gods who walk out before it explodes take part of the explosion damage and are slowed. Finally, Ability is all about "Shadow Step." It sees Nox dash forward to deal magical damage to enemies in their path. If they hit an allied god, they leap into their shadow and travel with them. Leaving the shadow deals magical damage to enemies around Nox.
For her Ultimate Ability, it's known as "Night Terror." She fires a vortex of darkness that passes through minions and explodes on the first enemy god, jungle boss or Titan it hits, or at max range. Enemies in the explosion take magical damage, then magical damage over time, and are silenced. Enemies hit are weakened.
Her Aspect of Silent Night has these effects:
- Flame of the night provides dampening and a magical shield.
- Shadow Lock scales with magical protections.
- Siphon Darkness silences and slows for its duration but deals no damage.
- Shadow Step provides a magical shield to nox and an ally, fears enemies when exiting an ally but does no damage.
- Night Terror does less damage but spawns a dome of darkness on hit which weakens and slows enemies inside.
The Aspect releases November 6.
