Demon Lord: Just A Block is ready to release its blocky fury as it arrives for the PC via Steam. This vibrant pixel world bends to the beheaded Demon Lord’s will and pace. Players can choose to think ahead and strategize each move or just swiftly slay enemies.

The game has players exact revenge as a reborn Demon Lord. They get to play as the beheaded demon and fight their way across the world. Along the way they'll need to make tough decisions, reunite with old allies, and defeat the usurping Dragon Queen Heyla. In addition, they also have to discover who sealed them away in the first place.

The full release of the game offers a complete, varied, and delightfully chaotic adventure. Players can experience the full seven-chapter experience with three endings to discover.

Each Move Matters

Demon Lord: Just A Block is a tactical action roguelite where every move matters and reflexes don't.

One interesting feature of the game is that enemies only move after the players. That means there's time to plan those actions and release precise dodges, parries, and counterattacks. Players have to master the rhythm, and turn every turn into a seamless chain of destruction.

Built for Replayability

The game sees players encounter new surprises each time they delve into the grid-based kingdom. They can experiment with 14 different weapons and each one comes with its own unique set of mechanics. These include teleports, combos, charge attacks, and ranged attacks. Meanwhile, all powerful attacks can be performed using just four directional keys.

With hundreds of abilities to choose from, along with dozens of enemies, each run presents a unique challenge. Speaking of abilities, these are drawn at random from different categories like Bombs, Lightning, Bats, and Summoning. Overall, it's safe to say that no two adventures are the same.

A Blocky World

The world is entirely made up of blocks, all of which can be moved or destroyed to gain the upper hand in battle. Players navigate procedurally generated levels that's filled with hidden rooms and random events. Each exploration brings with it the potential to surprise players.
