Kasur Games released what may be the biggest update yet for Verho – Curse of Faces. The highlight is the addition of New Game Plus. There's also a lot of new spell variants, weapon variants, enemy types, and even mini-bosses.
For the New Game Plus, here's what players can expect:
- New NG+ Weapon variants
- New NG+ Spell variants
- New NG+ Enemies and Mini bosses
- New NG+ Enemy and trap placements
There's also a "special" thing for those who manage to reach ng+5.
The new update also adds two new overpowered rings that players can get for beating the game in under five hours as well as beating the game without dying. They get one ring per challenge.
Improvements
The update introduces improvements to the game. One of these is the rework on the Collector with health lowered from 12000 to 10000.
Players should be happy to know that there is now an anti-corruption system. It detects if the save file was corrupted due to things like real-life power outages or computer crashes while playing a game. This should fix that automatically if it wasn't damaged beyond any repair.
Balance
Balance changes have also been implemented. These include doubling the reach for the spell "Identify." The cast time has been lowered to 0.2sec with the mana requirement decreased to 8. For the spell "Light," the cast time is now 0.3sec from 1 sec.
Meanwhile, the cast time of all weapon buffing spells changed from 3 sec to 0.3 sec.
