Dosa Divas Invites You to Fight Against an Evil Fast Food Empire

Developer Outerloop Games announced the release of Dosa Divas. This spicy narrative turn-based RPG is available on PC via Steam along with consoles PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 1, and Nintendo Switch 2. Right now it's being offered with a 10% off limited-time launch discount.

Dosa Divas was first revealed during the Summer Game Fest 2024. The game sees sisters Amani and Samara reconnect with estranged friends and family and fight a rotten fast food empire in a flavorful turn-based combat with the help of their trusty spirit-mech. They'll need to cook up some delicious meals, build community bonds, and come together for one last meal.

In a statement, creative director Chandana Ekanayake shared that the game offers a strong narrative identity and combines it with cooking, exploration, and turn-based combat to allow for a complete experience.

Dosa Divas has players participate in a flavorful turn-based combat system where each attack packs some heat, especially when players time it right. Hitting the action button as the hit lands not only amplifies the attack damage but also strengthens blocks against enemy attacks.

Players can use boost points at the start of the turn to multiply damage on attacks and skills. Each character harnesses their Spirit Power to use a unique set of class-based abilities associated with one of five flavor profiles. Players have to match enemy flavor cravings to break down their defenses and leave them stuffed. With each round, they’ll have to build up their Ultimate meter to use special group ultimates and serve up some devastating damage.
