Dungeon Fighter Online is celebrating its 11th anniversary. As part of the festivities, a new update has been released. It introduces the World Boss: Contagion.
World Boss: Contagion has been designed not only for competitive play but even for those who are looking for a casual experience. In this one, players need to build Contribution based on the damage dealt to the weekly rotation of World Bosses. With a rotation of three unique bosses and accessible reward thresholds, this new content is sure to deliver a rewarding endgame experience for every kind of Adventurer.
To enter this special channel, players need to accept the Side Story quest titled "[World Boss: Contagion] Massive Disease." They can enter the World Boss: Contagion channel at 44,929 Fame or higher after completing Neo: Awakening. World Boss: Contagion is open on all days of the week. The Challenge mode is closed to entry every Tuesday through Wednesday though players can still enter Practice mode during these days.
Contribution System
Each mode has a contribution that can be earned based on the amount of damage you deal to the World Boss during play. The Contribution of the players can be found on the Results screen upon clearing a dungeon and is reflected in their ranking.
The amount of Contribution earned per mode is reflected in the ranking for each mode. For Normal Mode, players can earn Daily rewards when they reach a certain amount of Contribution.
Monster Rotation
World Boss: Contagion features one monster each week. Each Tuesday, access to the content is restricted and any ongoing dungeon runs are canceled and treated as if the players retreated. In addition, parties are disbanded. One the same day each week, monsters are changed and account-based bindings, rankings, and World Boss HP are reset.
The monsters rotate in the order of Succumbing Tenebrae to Despairing Calamitas to Emanating Labes.
