DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 Complete Edition Remastered is releasing worldwide on October 1. It's going to be available for the PC via Steam along with consoles PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
As part of this announcement, KOEI TECMO released a new game introduction trailer that showcases the new features, additional story scenarios, and the exhilarating two-player cooperative mode. Watch that trailer here.
New Mechanics
For DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 Complete Edition Remastered, players can look forward to the game-changing combat and customization mechanics to help players shift the tide of battle. These include:
- Evasion: Dodge enemy strikes or temporarily withdraw from the front line.
- Just Evasion: Time a dodge perfectly to unleash a counterattack.
- Perfect Power Guard: Deflect incoming attacks to stun opponents and create an opening.
- Weapon Fusion: Sacrifice unwanted gear to transfer elemental attributes and skills, forging the ultimate weapon.
There are also new scenarios being added that feature a massive roster of unlockable officers that seamlessly combine the original story with engaging fresh content. In addition, the remastered version brings back the offline two-player mode.

Pre-order for DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 Complete Edition Remastered is now available. In addition to the digital standard edition, there's the option to go for the Digital Deluxe Edition which includes the base game plus 42 weapons, Six Secret Teachings, Wind Scroll and Tiger Amulet, and Officer Concept Art Collection. It also has a set of 42 retro costumes based on the original title. Those who pre-order the game before September 30 can get their hands on the “Retro-Style Red Hare Saddle.”
DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 has players choose from more than 40 different officers in the world of the Three Kingdoms. Then they take on those thrilling and tactical battles of 1 vs. 1,000 on vast battlefields. DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 was the first game in the DYNASTY WARRIORS series that featured mechanics which would later become a mainstay for the series. These include the True Musou Attacks, two-player simultaneous play, and the officer development system.
