Funktronic Labs officially launched Scramble Knights Online in Early Access. The game is available on PC via Steam along with console Xbox. This MMO-lite game has players go on a quest with friends as knights-in-training to challenge dungeons and slay bosses.
In Early Access, players can look forward to the complete set of 1-star quests and opt-in faction PvP. This should offer about five hours of PvE content. While in Early Access, the studio hopes to get feedback from the community in order to improve the game. In particular, the studio is looking into tweaking and improving the game's 1-star content while also setting the foundation of what they'll build the rest of the game on.
In a post, the studio thanked those who joined the Beta Playtest and Demo. They added that seeing so many knights in the Town Square was pretty much the reason they wanted to make the game.
Moving Forward
With Scramble Knights Online now in Early Access, the studio revealed that for now they'll be focusing on server stability, gameplay balancing, and bug fixes. However, once December rolls in, players can look forward to the game's first major content addition which is Island Odyssey. This update also introduces 2-star quests, new bosses, and new equipment, to name a few.
Scramble Knights Online invites players to go on an adventure with friends on bite-sized and Zelda-inspired quests in the shared online kingdom of Terracott. They'll need to travel across an archipelago that's filled with dangerous enemies, quaint towns, puzzling dungeons, and challenges suited for a knight-in-training.
Quests have players face off against electric slimes, rock-hurling crabs, towering dungeon bosses, and other dangerous creatures in strategic top-down combat. They can also meet other players on their own adventure and team up against powerful foes, race for valuable treasure, or even clash in PvP invasions.
After an adventure, players then head back to the Town Square to hang out, upgrade gear, and show off their look. They can also perform other actions like fish with friends. Of course, they can also use the time to prepare for the next expedition
