The latest update for Dungeon Fighter Online is here. The "Sunken Depths" update introduces a lot of new content to the game and these include an exciting new lore.
For those who can remember the Seon update a while back, the Adventurers had managed to stop the doomsday prophecy of the God of Mist. However, a new danger arrives as Delezie and the Vanitas threaten the world. This has forced the Adventurer to travel to Sunken Depths and look for the Fount of Tribulation, which is home of the Maleficents.
During this journey, players travel to the Shimmering Archipelago, the home of the Death’s Sentinels, a group fighting against the Maleficents. They also get to be on the Azure Main, a massive airship that's controlled by the Maleficents and where corrupted allies need to be faced. Then there's the Moon-Submerged Lake, once home to the Moon Hunters and now plagued by Malefic Beasts.
The ultimate goal is, of course, to find the long-lost Path to Demise which serves as the gateway to the Maleficents’ domain, also known as the Fount of Tribulation. It should bring players one step closer to stopping the vengeful Apostle Delezie.
New Events
To better enjoy the new changes to the game, everyone is invited to be part of the different new events. These include the Starter Boost event which runs March 18 to May 27. It gives players an instant boost to Lv. 110 in Sunken Depths and let them obtain essential rewards for the journey.
Also running in the same period as the first event mentioned is the Welcome Newbies event. It allows for veterans and newbies to unite for an exciting adventure. Then there's also Dr. Miracle's Sunken Depths Exploration Module and Doom Remnant Investigation.
The only different event, in a way, is Honey Time in Sunken Depths. It starts March 18 but ends April 15.
