Shape of Dreams is now available on Steam. The game features hack-and-slash combat and combines it with MOBA-style teamplay along with endless strategic variety. It offers fast-paced and dreamlike action that's set in a vivid roguelite world.

The game is priced at $24.99 though it's currently being offered at a 20% launch discount for a limited period. Players can also get the game as part of special bundles which are also available at a discount. The Rock and Dream bundle has Shape of Dreams plus the Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor title. Meanwhile, the Dream of Snow bundle has Warm Snow plus Shape of Dreams.

There are also special thank-you events launched to celebrate the release. There's the Early Bird Reward where players need to log in within 21 days after launch and receive the commemorative item Ethereal Forest Hound. Then there's the Pioneer’s Challenge where players have to defeat eight bosses and in return unlock a Limited Edition Emblem.

New Worlds

Before this release, developer Lizard Smoothie had released a demo and prologue for Shape of Dreams. The feedback received as a result has helped the team improve the game.

One big change is that from the three worlds available in the demo, this full version has eight worlds. That means aside from the Forest, Snowfield, and Night Sky, players can now explore Forest, Spirit Land, Higher Dimension, Island of Despair, and Throne of the Lonely King.

Multi-Biome System

There's also the introduction of the multi-biome system. The Spirit Land has one of the 3 biomes which are randomly selected. These are the Snowfield, Flame Zone, or Cave of Oblivion. Meanwhile for the Higher Dimension, this would be either the existing Night Sky or the Lotus Plateau. Each world contains unique enemies, challenges, rewards, and powerful bosses waiting.

Speaking of the demo or prologue, those who were able to play either versions can continue their save data directly in the full version. Demo version and save transfer support end three weeks after the full release so don’t wait too long to complete the save transfer.
