Burgee Media announced that its single player RPG Erenshor has reached a new milestone. The game is celebrating its 1st year anniversary of being in early access.
In a post, solo developer Brian shared a bit of history by saying that the game was a result of more than 20 years of "dabbling in game development." This eventually resulted into what can be described as a unique single-player "simulated MMORPG" that's mainly shaped by the community. The developer credits not only the ongoing support from the players but also their feedback and enthusiasm as key factors when it comes to the evolution and continued development of the game.
So what's next for Erenshor? A lot of players are probably aware that it's been quite a while since an update was released by the developer assures everyone he's "hard at work behind the scenes." In particular, it seems like the next feature to be introduced are raids.
Erenshor is a single player adventure that’s designed to capture the gameplay and feeling of an MMORPG. Players get to meet and group with hundreds of SimPlayers, these are digital companions who persistently exist in the world, who progress independently, and always be ready to group and adventure alongside players.
The game offers unrestricted exploration, strategic battles, and countless weapons, armors, and spells for everyone to discover. Players get to engage with hundreds of NPCs, join in epic quests, take part in monster hunts, and unearth countless treasures. The game also has an active economy where players get to purchase or sell loot.
One of the innovations that the game offers is that the simulated players level up alongside actual players, independent of their online status. They get to do a lot of things based on the interactions made. These include actions like initiating alliances, exploring new items, joining guilds, and forming those dynamic relationships. All of these actions are instrumental in qualifying for some of the most challenging endeavor of the games.
