Eri and Kanoe Joins the Gang in Blue Archive

A new update for Blue Archive has been released an now available on both Steam and mobile platforms. It's titled as "We Are the Occult Investigation Society! Ancient Spells and Mysteries." The highlight is the addition of new students to the roster.

Meeting Eri

The first student is Eri (3★). She's a new character of Wild Hunt Academy of Arts and serves as the president of the Occult Investigation Society. Her skills are:

Flash Arcana (EX Skill): Deals percentage of ATK as damage to 1 target. If Magical Charge is 2, enhances this attack and adds 0.5x to the damage, then resets Magical Charge.

Spellbook's Guidance (Basic Skill): Decreases Crit DMG RES of 1 enemy (for 28 sec) every 35 sec. Deals percentage of ATK as damage.

Good Omen (Enhanced Skill): Increases ATK.

Aspiring Artist (Sub Skill): Increases Sonic Effectiveness. Gains 1 Magical Charge upon defeating an enemy with an unenhanced EX Skill (up to 2 Magical Charges).

Meeting Kanoe

The second student is Kanoe (3★), a new character and member of the Occult Investigation Society. Her skills are:

It's Delicious... (EX Skill): Continuously recovers percentage of Healing as HP (for 20 sec). Removes 1 debuff.

Put My Heart Into It... (Basic Skill): Decreases Crit RES of enemies in a circular area every 30 sec (for 20 sec). Deals percentage of ATK as damage.

This Is My Friend (Enhanced Skill): Increases Max HP.

Blessing from a Past Life (Sub Skill): Increases Cost Recovery with an additional increase for every 1 Heavy Armor Striker student in the unit, other than the user (max of 3 students).

Blue Archive was originally released for mobile and has seen massive success. The Steam version came out in July 2025. The game has ranked consistently as one of the most played anime-style games around the world and has a dedicated global player base. it's set in Kivotos, a massive city with numerous academies. Players take on the role of an advisor to the Federal Investigation Club S.C.H.A.L.E., (aka SCHALE). They'll need to move forward and resolve the endless incidents that happen in the city while at the same time build relationships with charming anime students through RPG Action Strategy and thrilling military action gameplay.
